Honey french toast

Honey French Toast 🍯🐝

Ingredients 
1. 6 slices of bread
2. 4 Tbsp of honey
3. 3 eggs
4. 3 Tbsp butter, melted
5. 2 Tbsp of sugar
6. 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
7. 1/2 cup of milk


Direction
  1. Whisk the eggs, milk, 2 Tbsp honey and cinnamon in a bowl.
  2. Then, dip bread in the mixture. Let it soak for 30 seconds. Let it rest for 10 minutes
  3. Mix the melted butter and the sugar in a small bowl.
  4. Arrange the bread in a pan and drizzle it with the butter mixture and the rest of the honey.
  5. Cook the bread for 3 minutes each side with a medium heat.
  6. Then, move it to a baking sheet and bake for 5 minute until it has a beautiful golden colour.
  7. You can serve it with some berries or honey too...

Fish bento

Fish Bento 🐟🐟

Firstly, in this bento set we will make
`Tamago egg roll
`Caramelized salmon
`Vege salad 
`Tempura nori
You can have a green tea to add a Japanese vibes too...







Ingredients
` Tamago egg roll
   - 4 eggs
   - 1/4 tsp of salt
   - 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
   - 1 tsp of soy sauce
   - 1/4 tsp of sugar

` Caramelized Salmon
   - 8 ounces salmon, cut into 4 fillets with skin
   - 1/4 cup of sugar 
   - Olive oil
   - A pinch of basil
   - 1/2 tsp of salt
   - A pinch of blackpepper
   - 1 tbsp of honey 

` Vege Salad
   - 4 baby potatoes
   - Tofu (cut cubes)
   - A pinch of salt
   - Vegetable oil
   - Kale
   - 1 clove garlic, minced
   - 3 tbsp of soysauce
   - 2 tbsp mirin(sweetened rice wine)

` Tempura Nori
   - 1/2 cup of flour
   - A pinch of salt and blackpepper
   - 2/3 cup of water
   - 2 sheets of dried seawee
   - Vegetable oil  
  
Direction

  1. Mix egg, salt, sugar and soy sauce in a bowl.
  2. Heat a pan at medium high temperature and add oil.
  3. Pour a thin layer of egg mixture in the pan, tilting to cover the pan. After the thin egg has set a little, gently roll into a log.  
  4. Pour some more egg mixture again to cover the bottom of the pan, with the roll of egg at the end. After the new layer has set,  roll the log back onto the the cooked thin egg and roll to the other end of the pan.
  5. Repeat adding egg to the pan and rolling back
  6. Slice the ends of the log off and then slice the log into 1/2" pieces. You should see a nice spiral pattern in the cross section of the egg. 
 `Caramelized Salmon

  1. Combine the sugar, salt, honey, blackpepper and basil  in a bowl.
  2. Dip each fillet and coat it with the mixture.
  3. Heat the olive oil in the pan. when the oil is hot enough, add the salmon skin down to the pan. Don't put it in too high heat.(Its better to do it with medium or low heat)
  4. Flip the salmon fillet carefully and saute it for 5 minutes. Do the same thing with the otherside too.
  5. When the colour is golden brown, Its done!!!
` Vege Salad

  1. Whisk soy sauce, salt and mirin together in a bowl.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan and stir in garlic. After that add the mirin mixture.
  3. Add the tofu, baby potatoes and kale. 
  4. Saute them together for 3 minutes.
  5. The tofu must have a golden yellowish colour.
` Tempura Nori

  1. Stir the flour, salt, blackpepper together. Then add the water and whisk it together.
  2. Heat the oil, then dip the nori into the batter.
  3. Add it to the pan and fry it until the colour goldish brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Drain it with a paper towel... And do the same to the rest seaweed.

Heavenly baked potato


Heavenly Baked Potato (Perfect for Midnight Feast!!!)

Ingredients
1. A medium size potato
2. A slice of mozzarella cheese
3. 2 slices of bacon, sliced
4. A slice of quickmelt cheddar cheese
5. A pinch of salt
6. A pinch of crushed rosemary leaves 
7. Olive oil
8. A pinch of blackpepper.


Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 425
  2. Clean the potato... Then, rub the skin with olive oil and salt.
  3. Then roast for 25 minutes.
  4. Take the potato out from the oven, and slice it in the middle.
  5. Apply the mozzarella, cheddar, the bacon slices, a pinch of crushed rosemary leaves,black pepper and salt.
  6. Bake for another 20-25 minutes until the cheese melted perfectly.

Cocoa orange cheesecake



Cocoa Orange Cheesecake πŸ’ž

Ingredients


The Crust
1. 11/2  cups of Graham crackers or other crackers.
2. 1/2  cup of cocoa powder
3. 6 table spoons of melted unsalted butter.
4. 1 table spoons of sugar

The Filling

1. 2 packages of softened cream cheese.
2. 3 eggs, beaten
3. 1 tablespoons of grated orange zest
4. 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
5. 2 cups of sugar

The Topping

1. Grated chocolate
2. 1/2 teaspoon of orange zest
3. Chocolate powder 

Directions

To make the crust

1. Combine graham crackers, chocolate powder and sugar. Stir until it mixed perfectly. Then add the  melted butter and stir it. Then put the mixture into a mold and press it. Preheat the oven to 325 C and bake for 5 minutes. Cool it down.

2. For the filling, Combine the softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, orange zest. Beat with an electric mixer on a medium speed. After that, add the eggs and stir it until they mixed perfectly.

3. Pour the filling into the mold. Bake for 40-50 minutes.

4. Cool it for 1 hour, after that take a small knife to remove it from the mold and put on the chocolate powder, the rest of the orange zest and grated chocolate as the topping.
5.  Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
